(Re)Discovering Emily the Strange
As you know, I am SUPER excited about the upcoming release of the Emily the Strange novel, THE LOST DAYS.
Harper Collins just released the below video of Rob Reger (creator and illustrator of Emily) talking about the new book.
I got to read an advance copy and I have to say it is PHENOMENAL…particularly for those who will love the first person narrative style of TWILIGHT mixed with the attitude of JUNO and a bit of the quirky mystery of SCOOBY-DOO. It is really the first time to truly “meet Emily” as she is forced to rediscover who she really is.

That seems pretty cool, But i like the message. Those are the kinds of experiences i had growing up. The journey of discovery was well worthit. I feel more enrichened for it. like the foundation idea too. We need more of this.
I pre-ordered the book Jen. Looks very appropriate for the age group of students I work with.
