Calliope in Outer Space

If 2008/2009 was the Year of the Vampire, then 2009/2010 will be the Year of the Wolf.

With TRUE BLOOD introducing shapeshifters earlier this year on HBO and Stephenie Meyer’s highly anticipated NEW MOON rising in November, the upcoming entertainment spectrum is getting… (ahem)… hairy.

And now, Universal has finally launched their official trailer for the remake of the horror classic THE WOLFMAN!

Postponed from April 3, 2009 to November 6, 2009 and now to a February 12, 2010 release date (due in part to additional visual effects work required), THE WOLFMAN offers an all-star lineup including Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins.

While it is a bit alarming that the film is bouncing around release dates due to technical issues, the trailer looks great and the cast is solid.
