MyScapes Art Exhibit

Beginning February 1, 2008, my mother – artist Kathleen H. Bischak – will be showing her latest collection “MyScapes” at the Center for Creative Arts Expression in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. The show will run through February 20, 2008.
There will be an opening reception on Friday, February 1, 2008 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
Artist’s Statement:
Since time is precious and fleeting, capturing a moment of beauty is a way of relaxing and appreciating life. The fragile nature of the landscape is a source of inspiration. Concentrating on the act of painting through the observation of color, value, space, texture and line is a way of becoming one with the moment and place.
The painting below demonstrates the inspired, “in the moment” visual journalism of her MyScapes collection.
