Terminator Salvation Trailer

It is official and it looks freakin’ cool.

TERMINATOR 4, now “officially” known as TERMINATOR SALVATION, posted a new trailer TODAY featuring the new star of this installment – the Dark Knight himself, CHRISTIAN BALE.

Check it out!

Here is the official synopsis from IMDB:

Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, John Connor (Bale) is the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet’s operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

The verdict is still out if this will be rated [R] or a hard [PG-13].

Helena Bonham Carter, Common and Bryce Dallas Howard are listed as cast on IMDB.

Rumor has it that Josh Brolin may be attached as the Terminator….Hmmm.

Director is McG  – a.k.a. Joseph McGinty Nichol – who is well known for music videos and as a television producer (CHUCK, SUPERNATURAL).

I’ll be on the pre-order list for tix as this is guaranteed to be one of the more highly anticipated films of 2009!
